When is an employer obligated to start making pension contributions?

Every employee in Israel aged 21 (for men) or 20 (for women) is entitled to pension insurance: If the employee has an active pension fund from a previous workplace: The employer is obligated to make contributions for them from the first day, retroactively after 3 months of employment. If the employee does not have an active pension: The contributions will begin only after the completion of 6 months of employment.
